For years my mother tried her best to teach me Aipan, a traditional Kumaoni art form using Geru (Red Ochre powder)base with symbolic motifs drawn on it with fingers using Biswar (soaked rice paste)
But to no avail..............
Decades later, I conceptualised this logo for MYARR with the original Aipan technique & colours. This is for my maa, Amma - you did succeed

The Naraai earring is designed using 3pahuchi beads and draws its inspiration from shape of the 'khatti-meethi' leaves we used to eat on the DSB college road while daily walking upto school as children. There were no cabs or buses to drop us and we walked to & fro finding lots to do enroute.

Dagadu in Kumaoni means friend originating from the word Dagad meaning with/together. True to it's name, this hoop earring goes well with any outfit and is my absolute favourite. This Hoop earrings is dedicated to my friends, my Dagadus - you guys are my lifeline.
